can't find the bleeder please help

I can't find the damn bleeder for the slave. I have read that if you reach up directly from the line going into the trans it supposed to be right there but I didn't find it like that. I've been trying everything and I still haven't got anywhere. Can someone please help?

it's right above where the line goes in. It's extremely hard to get to. I used a 1/4 ratchet with a deep 7/16 socket to get to mine. I think the best way would be to drill a hole on the inside of the car on the trans tunnel. I've seen this suggested before, you may try a search to find out info on that. I found that removing the drivers side o2 sensor helped to give me a little more space to work under there.

I can get my hand past the unused tab that sticks up there I've been trying to feel and look but I can't see it or feel it. How close to the top of the trans is it?

Its probably about halfway in between the line and the top of the trans. I feel your pain. It took me a while to find it too. I was convinced it wasn't there. Just be sure you use a ratchet that locks the socket onto it, so it doesn't fall into the bell housing. I couldn't really get my hand in there either, just had to figure out how to stick the ratchet up there just right to get it on the bleeder. It was a ROYAL pain. Stupid design, it's almost impossible to get to. I really think next time I'm going to pull my carpet back, and drill a hole in the floor pan to get to it.

Yeah I was about convinced it wasn't there myself. I guess I'll keep trying, its just frustrating. I've been working on this thing all day and haven't got anywhere with it. Thanks for your help man.

have you looked for any articles on cutting a hole in the floor pan? you could always do that and then reattatch the piece you cut out with screws when you are done. Sort of like making a removable panel. I'll look to see if I can find any articles on it.
