    Cant Figure This Out

my dad and i tryed to bleed the clutch today for nearly two hours and we didnt get anywhere, can any one give me any insight on what i may be doing wrong? Im sitting in the car while dad is underneath, he gives some sort of signal so i step on the clutch he cracks the bolt open and shuts it, then i release the clutch, and repeat, we were losing fluid the whole time out of the bleeder along with some air bubbles, but i never NEVER got back feeling in the pedal, and the car is undriveable, i start it up in neutral, and with the clutch fully depressed, i attempt to put it in gear but it will not, no matter how much force i put on it, go in gear. it will start to roll a little when i push really hard in the first position but it wont slide all the way in

what are we doing wrong? please help i havent been able to drive my car in over a week now and my right foot is craving some ls1

also we were keeping the resevoir full of DOT 3 while we were bleeding

I've heard it can take a really long time for it to fully bleed. Is your fluid black, cause that's not good. Maybe you need new slave or master cylinder.

Wait.....are you doing this to finish up after your RMS replacement??? If you got oil or any fluid on the clutch it's probably toast!!! The clutch disk is ruined if it got any oil on it. Hope you didn't go through all of that and not replace the clutch...

I had a similar problem... the master cylinder was bad. Like you, I tried several times to bleed it but had to eventually replace it. Mine wasn't so bad that I couldn't get it into gear, but it was frustrating if nothing else. It sounds like you have either a bad master or slave cylinder.

pump it as fast and hard as you can for about 50 times then crack and do it again... repeat a few times, it will tighten up trust me i just went through this about a month ago... and while your at all this you might want to do the drill mod if you havent yet
