Bump stops / overthrough??
I got a short stick that I am going to install. I was wondering how to install these "bump stops," or if they are necessary, or if they are already there? I saw some posts on other threads that with a short stick there is danger of "overshifting"? Is there any truth to this, if someone could set me straight that would be great?
Thanks!

The bumpstop adjustment is necessary when you replace the whole shifter with an aftermarket one.
If you are just replace the stick on a stock shifter assembly. then you don't have to worry about it
