And you pay for what you get is a term that fits here when talking Centerforce. There may be a couple good responses for it, but there are a lot of bad ones. I being 1 for BAD. Centerforce clutch puts quite a toll on your slave cylinder and once it starts slipping, might as well just buy a new flywheel too.

this was some of the aftermath of the Centerforce (went out within 6 months and I gave it a good break in period-roughly 500 miles), and what it did to my Aluminum flywheel...

I have an alm flywheel and couldnt b happier with it. You never have to replace it, just the insert that touches the clutch ($53). Also it is considerably less weight on your rotating mass (from stock 18lb's to 12.5lb's). It is weaker but if your making enough power to hurt it (and have a decent clutch) than you are more concerned with the lighter flywheel to help you make that power.

I'd only consider Ram, Mcleod, and Textrailia. I have a Mcleod kevlar single disc for about 4 or 5 years now. Never a problem. Still holds 5,500rpm dumps on ET Streets.

gm parts direct has it pretty cheap, and they are a sponsor. They have the LS7 clutch and matching LS2 flywheel for $464.55 w/ shipping

and the clutch line would come on the master cylinder which is a sperate cost. Don't forget a slave cylinder too.
I am having trouble navigating to this part number or even finding it. Not sure how to go about pulling this combination or the ls7 clutch up on their site. maybe im just retarded or something

what about the master cylinder and slave cylinder on a 2000 ss car i've heard it's best to chage those as well. has anybody done this with the newer 2001 and 2002 parts? if so do you still have the p/n for them??

My 99 was very difficult to push the clutch, and after changing the slave cylinder to 01 model it was MUCH better. Highly recommended along with the drill mod to the master.
