Auto or manual!

Have a 2001 ram air. Just got a new clutch put in and its hard again. Guy at the shop said it was made into a manual. How would I know? Found a VINdecoder on trans-am world and it said it had manual belts?

what do you mean by hard? You can check the rpo codes in the glove box to see if it was originally an auto or not.

You were probably looking at the restraint system, which is manual seat belts as opposed to power seat belts. Thats something totally different, nothing to do with the transmission.
