I used a flat screw driver along shaft and pry back, work around and it will pop right out. You could also use a couple screws and some channel locks but the screw driver worked just fine and fast.99 Trans Am, SLP Lid, Blackwing filter, smooth bellow, Ported TB, LS6 intake, Ws6 lower ram air box, OBX LT's, Magna Flow cat back, LS7 clutch, Tick MC, Hurst Shifter, Frost Tune, UMI SFC,LAC, STB, PB, Torq Arm, Super Hawk hood, Torq Thrust II, Kee Audio.

Use a flat head screwdriver to remove the seal and a light coat of grease on the seal when installing. Good luck and don't damage the inside lip of the seal of you will fave to do it again. My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj.
