    What stall to buy?

I currently have a nearly stock ws6 with a A4 in it. I have some LT and catted yipe to install, new poly mounts, plugs, wires, and thermostat.

I keep hearing in other forms that people with the A4 trans should get a stall installed.

Any ideas what stall to buy? (I use the car as a daily driver during the summer nice days.)

Not a stall guy myself but depending on future mods (IE Cam/Heads etc....) I would say some where between 3200 and 3800 rpms

Look around 3500 range. I wouldn't go lower than that and no higher than 3800. Be sure to get a tranny cooler also. A shift kit would be another good addition, but the cooler is a must.

also factor in a tune.....not always necessary but usually is. You'll most likely need your shift points adjusted and things like that.

^ Add him also. A tune will get rid of Torque Management which I have heard isn't the greatest. Frost is a sponsor on this site, he could probably hook you up with a tune.

the biggest that can fit ...you cant have too much cooling ...as luos said..look into the yank converters ... there are only two converters id trust in my car...those are the Yanks and the Circle D.....i plan on going with the yank 3600. the str is good at 2.5 and the quality is good...do it
