stall converter, at WOT it doesnt allow your RPM's to drop below a certian RPM based upon the stall you put in, best mod for an A4

SWEET, good to know!! What do they cost? ...and how hard are they to install? Huge differences in performance?

if you know your way around cars, it wont be hard to do.
stalls, shift kits and trans coolers cost anywhere from 600-1200.
its a huge difference in performance

stall convertor/torque convertor takes your horsepower in lower rpms and turns it into torque... reason why automatics dyno lower hp numbers and higher torqure numbers... in most cases with same mods exact opposites... makes for greatttttt launches... reason why dragsters are auto... and a few other reasons
shift kit... makes the shifts hard/firm/quick from what i understand... help a lot...

No, no. A stall torque converter will make your shifts softer unless you add a shift kit.

    Yep.

When I installed my 3600 vigilante I noticed a bigger difference with it alone than anything else I have done to my car, Cam, tune, headers, gears, etc included.
