what does a shift kit do 4 a AT?
very stupid ? but what exactly does a shift kit do for a a4?how does it bennifit it?how do u install it?i have had 2 m6s and have a a4 now and 4:10 gears,have a hypertech but cant really adjust shift points cause of gears.

Shift kits are basically the parts needed to reroute fluid transfer in the valvebody to provide crisper firmer shifts. An install will mean dropping the trans pan removing the valvebody and accumulator and replacing some parts. In actuality the same results can be provided without a shift kit if you know a little about transmissions. But shift kits are fairly easy to install.
