My tranny took a dump last week with less than 3k on it. I'm doing away with it and the torque converter. Is the converter worth anything? It too has under 3k on it.

You should be able to sell it used,the end user will need to flush it completely.

You may also be able to send it back and get it re-stalled to re-use with your rebuilt trans.

I've already got a new TC coming - a Vigilante 2500.... so I have no use for it.

why would you want to get rid of it? are you sure it didnt contribute to your tranny going out?

Need to start out from scratch. The whole install was a debacle. Also - i didn't really care for the converter.

Let's put it like this - either the TC was coming unlocked at highway speeds or the transmission was slipping. It had a strong pull and was very responsive around town - but was a real dog once on the highway.
