so i put the new mount in. it accelerates without that clunk. HOWEVER, when accelerating hard there is alot of vibration especially when it hits about 70-80mph, you hear and feel a vibration under the center console. Anyone know what this may be.
My thought was that the new mount looked like it sat differently. I was thinking that the angle of the driveshaft has changed, causing that weird vibration.
When i let go of the pedal during this vibration, the noise goes away, but the car still drives really loud at 60-70mph. Any suggestions or recommendations will be much appreciated!!

Same deal as mine. That's why I ended up going to the energy suspension piece. You might want to take it out and compare its height the factory one. Mine was about a 1/8 inch taller. Went with the energy suspension piece and ground down the two bumps and now it's stick height and I have no more vibration. Others have had then "loosen up" with miles and the vibration was reduced.

You need to install a piece of soft rubber between the mount and the transmission cross member, this will cut down the vibration, however not take it away.

Would that further mess with the driveshaft angle though? I think it's sitting at a higher degree so it's vibrating. Might need weights to balance it or something ....not really sure right now. don't like the feel of the car right now though. the ride is rough.

You could try putting washers between the crossmember and the frame to lower the transmission.

That is the piece I used. I got mine from autozone too. I have heard of the washer tip working as well.
