    Trans identification question

    I have a 93 trans am i bought for parts it has factory auto trans in it, is it a 4l60e?

    i believe the 93 had the TH700R4...they switched to the 4l60 in 94.

    1993 F-Body will have the 700R4 where as the 1994 F-Bodys (and 1993 Trucks) will have the 4L60E
    4L60E Electrical Connector on the Passenger Side (Many Pins 10+)
    700R4 Electical Connetor on Drivers Side (3-5 Pin)
