    Trans Fluid Lines

Is there a special disconnect tool for the fluid lines at the transmission? Something like all the fuel disconnect tools and such? Or are the lines at the transmission disconnected by unscrewing the fittings? It is a 99 Z28 4L60E. The lines at the trans has what looks like a retainer then a felt waser then the fittings. The retainer holds the felt washer against the fitting for what purpose I can not determine.

    Anyone know?

Just remove the retainer clip with a pick or small screwdriver and pull on the cooler line and it should slide off. I will try to find some pics and post them later.
