yeah great info. this will make it easier. Do you know if I will have to drain the fluid before removing the plug? my common sense tells yes or remove the plug and let it drain until it stops.

No need to drain the fluid. That is a pressure tap port for diagnostics. There should be much fluid up there until the engine is running.

non at all. when installed the sending unit only sticks out about half an inch. just make sure to ziptie the wire away from all the exhaust... for obvious reasons.

    Im got this one:

    From Glowshift

The sender unit is pretty compact so i dont see any clearance issues. It just came in today. the only thing is if you do a vent gauge and are gonna us a 52mm/2 1/16th you need an adapter but if you get a pillar pod then most have that size anyway. Im getting an adaptor (speedinc by the way)

ive been busy working out of town latley so i have had to put the stall install on hold which also put my gauge and tranny cooler install on hold as well. Ive been doing other things that dont take as long. But as soon as i get some time ill let you know. So far it look great lol. Ive mocked it up in the dash and looks pretty good. As soon as i get it fully installed ill post up a How-To. Im gonna tackle a Tranny Cooler, Stall, Temp Gauge, Tranny mount, and Felxplate. All with proper measurements and Torque specs.

Im looking into guages for turbo applications as well. THey make nice looking gauges as well that can be color cordinated with the lights. They also come with all required hardware, within reason of course. You may need extra wiring in some cases, like me for the trans temp coming from the drivers side vent hole
