Tranny=dump??

hey guys new to the site. i got a 98 trans am bone stock wit an auto trans. the car has bout 164xxx miles. just bout two days ago i was driving and my car completly wouldnt shift out of 1st!! its been doin this where it would just rev to bout 4-5 rpms and then shift hard and fast from 2nd to 3rd. checked the oil level on it the day it totally stopd shifting and it was dry empty!! filled it up and nothing...idk i think my trannys pretty done for??

please guys need serious help

If its ben running low on fluild and with that many miles I would say you will be looking for a rebuild or replacement unit now,I would invite you to look at what we have to offer, http://performabuilt.com/

so how much do you think i would be looking at to fix this problem and what type of tranny do you recommend?? i was also thinking bout changing the auto to a 6spd manny. if you can would you write me a quote and include everything i would need to do this job. thanks
