im really interested in the revmax. affordable and customizable. Im gonna get it with the carbon clutch, anti ballon plate, and 3300 stall. Im still wondering if i should get it with the billet front cover. should be fun lol

Well I went with the 278mm 3000-3200 Circle D. The car has been down for over a month. I can't wait to get it back on the road. I'm going to install a trans cooler in series with the radiator. I'm not sure what brand to get yet .... probably the B&M.

I must ask do you need a tune after you install a different converter? Thanks.

In my opinion yes. I mean the car isn't undrivable, but generally you'll need some touchups in the tune for shift points, TCC, and sometimes misfire detection sensitivity needs to be tweaked.

I know one thing leads to another when it comes to adding performance parts; believe it or not I actually thought about installing a cam and springs while I'm at it and the car is down. I'll have to wait on that. Anyhow, as far as tuning goes, what is recommended? Should I take it some where or buy what's needed and tune it myself?

You could send your pcm to frost. It's called a frost tune. It'll be cheaper and exactly what you need for just changing the stall.

I'm reading a lot of great things about Frost Tuning. I'll definitely ship mine out after Christmas. Man ... between that converter, newly rebuilt transmission and tune .... I'm pretty excited to see how she runs!!
