Time for a new A4 Transmission???
So im driving to work this morning and I jump on the highway and i floor it, 1st gear nearly hit the rev limiter before it shifted (5000 RPM +) scared the hell out of me. The highway was pretty smooth from there, but when I got back into city traffic under "legal" driving conditions, first gear is running to nearly 3400 RPM. Is God telling me I need a PerformaBuilt Tranny???? Will changing the tranny fluid/filter prolong the inevitable???
