Sticker on yank converters
Alright I bought a used PT4400 on tech. The guy said the converter works great. Im a little worried about one thing. The sticker on the side of the converter is gone which says what model it is. This wont happen over time of the converter being in the tranny huh? Probably no #'s on the converter for yank to identify what it is right? Do some people remove the stickers? I'm hesitating to put it in the car. The fluid of what was left in it isnt fresh fluid that was just dumped into it. It's used but doesnt smell like burnt fluid. Still has a red tint to it and no like "grit" in it. So I dont know. I'm as confused as a deer standing in the middle of the road looking into headlights. HELP

Talk to Yank, they will inspect it for you and freshen it up for a nominal fee.
