Stall/throttle question...

This is a discussion on Stall/throttle question... within the Automatic Transmission forums, part of the Drivetrain category; This could go in either this or the engine forum but... Would it be possible to adjust the throttle cables ...

    Stall/throttle question...

This could go in either this or the engine forum but...

Would it be possible to adjust the throttle cables somehow so that when running a higher stall, you could retain the stock pedal "feel" so you wouldn't need to push it much to get around town yet still give the engine more gas?

    Interesting question actually...
I say no...because basically what you would be doing is raising the idle to compensate for cable "travel".....to reach the stall speed with less motion to the throttle.....I fail to see any advantage...mash the throttle man
