Something to keep in mind (converters..)
Ok this seems very simple but it is something that alot of people seem to not ever get into there heads. It is also something that has been haunting me ever since I moved and and now on a new track and will haunt me even more when I gets my heads and cam done since I will be running even more power.
When you have a torque converter installed you will basically have the same effect as dropping your clutch from whatever your stall may be. Ok simple right? Well if you are already have traction issues or dont ever plan on doing suspension mods or getting a set of sticky tires then yuou may just be turning your car into one hell of a burn out car and you will have basically wasted your money. People are always asking me how I like my verter and all and I give them the same answer everytime. "it was great back in FL when I was on a great track and I could get my nittos to stick but now that im in TX and the track here SUCKS I just dont one hell of a spin show til almost all the way to the 1/8 mile mark somedays. Just some food for thought when you consider a Torque converter for your A4

I agree, I beefed up my suspension using BMR products, and SLP subframe connectors BEFORE my TC install (Yank 3000 2.0 STR, 3:73 gears), and I have really no problem in getting traction from my street tires.
"Smoking the Tires" is VERY impressive, however you are not going anywhere.
I like "Farfeknugen to Fukenmoven" over the latter any day.

Exactly, a good suspension is needed when considering a TC. I just dropped .2 from my 60 just from new rear sway bar endlinks and SFC's.
