    shift kits?

On my last 3 3rd gens I installed a B&M transpack for a firmer shift.I love the second gear scratch, but those were Th700r4 trannies. My question is I've been told you create a firmer shift in the 4l60 with a programmer by some and told you can do a transpack by others. What is the best way?

shift kits are the best way the only thing a tune of any sort will do is raise pressure lines but a shiftkit(transgo hd2 highly recommended) will replace a bunch of parts and will also give you the option of going from soft shift to hard shift when installing it. raising pressure lines to a certain point can be fine but i like the security of having parts that are new and meant to be shifted hard in there.
