Sender for trans temp guage
What kind of fittings do I need to mount the sender in the pan? Any other options ?

If it is an automatic transmission, there is a pressure port on the side of the case above the transmssion linkage, the size is 1/8 NPT. I get very accurate readings from that location.

I really do not know the answer to that, however the reading I get there is within 1 degree of what auto tap says it is.
