rearend gears and converters
i have a 98 camaro no engine mods i do have off road y-pipe and program, my question is i want to change the gears and converter,i have 323 ratio and want maybe a 410 is that to low with stock cam would 373 be better and what size converter be the best for my car? where would i find the best converter? thanks for your help

It's pretty much settled that if you plan on street driving 3.73's are the way to go with an A4. This being said, I have 3.73's in my car and it is not terrible on the highway. I would consider 3.90's, not sure about 4.10's as that may be a little much.

The standard answer is 3.73 gears with an automatic as Jeff said. And a 3400 to 3600rpm stall converter. Recommended brands: Yank, Circle D

i have an edge 3000 stall and stock 3.23 gears and it rips. try the verter first and see how ya like it, the gears were just a waste of money on my old car - no 1/4 improvement at all. it just felt faster lol.
