Not bad as far as autos go. They want 4800 to build my legacy GTs auto tranny and it still can only handle 450trq.

Hmmm, may have to consider that, but I will have to replace my rear before the tranny.

unless you already have problems with your rear i doubt youll need to change it out. our trannies seem to go out quicker than our rears for us autos

even with good tires our autos dont abuse the rear near as much as dumping the clutch. now if you have a stall then i would agree but either way i see no reason to get a rear before a built tranny. but thats just me.

I agree grabbing gears in a m6 is harder on a rear-fo sho. I don't see the need to buy a rear or tranny unless the one you got grenades. Alot depends on what mods you have too but even at stock hp the 60e and 10 bolt is less than ideal.

true but both mr.roberto and i have lots of plans for our cars, which will more than likely require both a built tranny and a built rear end. he got the performabuilt because his took a dive. and as for me, i dont want to wait for something to happen before i upgrade to a stronger set up. i definitely plan on doing tranny, rear, and susp. before i get into the power mods. not only do i not have to worry about traction and breaking parts, but i also get time to make a final decision on what power set up i would like to go with.

Yeah my stock tranny died on me... so I replaced it with a built one... I doing the same thing as 00z28bubba ... tranny, rear, suspension, then buildin up from there because now I no what its like to be without my car , and I don't wantto take that chance again and be stuck without my maro again

I use Nitto 555Rs, if you are only gonna have a stall they should be ok, especially with the heat you guys have down there.

Yeah im doing 555s up front and 555rs on the rear... but I need to buy new rims too... because the stock 16s aren't cutting so I decided to go with chrome zr1s ... and do 315s on the back.. Excited lol

I used 17s too, the tires are much cheaper than 18s and that was the deciding factor. The nitto 315s barely fit for me, they rub only if i take a corner way too fast...i did nothing to make them fit, you could always just bang the fender if you have to. They run a lot smaller than other 315s, so no worries
