New Conv...Erratic Times
I just installed a Precision Industries 3200 stall and larger tires. I expected a good gain in et. My initial results were less than desirable. I was 2 tenths and 3 mph slower. Later runs were better. The next day at the same track, I picked up were I left off, then the times got even better.
I'm sure that weather played a part, but I'm worried about the converter. I broke the converter in as the destructions said (50 lock-ups). Do they loosen up that much the first set of runs??
The 60 ft times were awsome from the start, much better times. But the car fell on its face at the 8th mile the first few runs. Like I said, later runs were better. Should this be happening?
