    N/A converter VS Nitrous converter????

Alright heres the deal. Ive been looking for a Yank PT4000-4400 converter but I cant find one they are all sold or people wont respond to PM's. Theres a local guy with a Yank PY3600E for sale. It's a nitrous/blower converter. Hes offering a good deal. My question is im going to go with a N/A setup for right now cam only + bolt ons. Will this converter kill my topend or hurt me in anyway. I plan on spraying maybe a 75-100 shot in a few months. I want to stay N/A though. Is it worth it or will it REALLY kill my topend or anything. Am I wasting my time? Or should I stick around on here and LS1tech and see if a PT series pops up?

From what I have heard the main difference with a N/A convertor versus a Blown or Nitrous is that the later of the two usually has anti balloning plates to give the convertor more strength and keep the housing from flexing. The actuall stall and such should pretty much be the same as a NA convertor. You are not wasting your time though as these do normally lower your ET. If you drive your car though a 4 to 4400 stall is pretty darn high. I would not recommend going higher than 3600 on a car you use on the street and make sure it still has lockup.
