Hey guys....a question.

My other fun ride is a 97 Dodge Diesel. One of the tricks the diesel guys are putting into their rides is a "mystery switch". This is basically a floor mounted headlight dimmer switch that grounds/ungrounds the Torque converter lockup wire into the ECU. What this does is gives you total control of the TC lockup feature. TONS more scoot with it locked up in first/second compared to a bunch of slippage.

My question for the group...has anyone done this on one of our LS1 cars? Specifically hard switched the TC clutch to a switch to get firmer shifts/acceleration etc.?

Our LSX motors are so torquey down low I'm thinking there may be something here to work into our cars.

Thanks for any inputs.
