Looking for a shift kit

Since adding my Vig 3200 stall i've been told by a couple people that i really need to add a shift kit now. I've done a little looking around and see that most people run the TransGo kits. Would the TransGo HD-2 be a good kit to go with?

I really don't know anything about shift kits so any input would be greatly appriciated!

Have you considered having the computer retuned for firmer shifts?

I just had my comp. retuned to be a little faster , firmer, and hold each gear to 6000rpm. Made a huge difference

i planned on getting a tune also, probably going to go with the tune first, only problem is i'm going to have to go with a mail order tune since there are no dyno's within a 3 hour drive of me. So i figured i would go with a frost tune for now and once i do heads/cam next year then i'll make the trip for a good dyno tune.

I just got my yank 3600 installed and the installer recommended a stage 3 transgo shift kit. I haven't gotten to the dyno yet, so not sure how it performs, but after talking with a couple transmission shops in the area that specialize in high hp cars, they were both recommending a shift kit along with the tune.
