Lock up or non lock up?

Torque converters that are lock up are for street/strip use and non lock up are for drag racing right?

Lock up is nearly a nessesity and I would see no reason not to have lockup , It does not affect performance and keps the transmissions cooler and gives better normal driving efficency , DEFINATLY LOCKUP

I agree lockup is the way to go especially with a street/strip car.
