    As the instructions with the cooler state - the fluid should go through the radiator cooler first, so that the radiator can absorb some of the heat, and then through the auxillary cooler to shed more heat.

    The fluid level should be checked the same way as instructed in the owners manual. Having a cooler doesn't change the fluid level, just the capacity. So, after installing the cooler, you'll need to add fluid.

    Hey, I installed trans cooler on my 04 gto a/t. I used the lt upper transcooler line screws into the back of the radiator. Did i use the correct line ?

    you should have a line in and line out. I put mine on the line out ( return line) from the radiator back to the tranny. I would have to get under my gto and see if the lines are the same but on the bird the line from the tranny had high pressure fittings on it and the return line had a hose clamp.
