You either mount it in front of the radiator/a/c or mount it "dope style"-horizontal before the rad. I mounted mine in this fashion on the passenger side and cut off some of the plastic guard where it now sits.

how much hose did you need to mount it where you did in front of the radiator on the pass. side cause im goin to do it that way, and did you use the metal bracket mounting kit?

I didn't use no kit, and the hose is cheap I got more than I needed 4' to be on the safe side. Just make sure you get the hose at an autoparts store to ensure it will withstand the heat.

well like on yours here you have those brackets on the sides of the cooler that have the bolt holes i dont have that on mine my friend that gave me it mounted it with plastic tab things and there was some springs with it, it looked as if they were stuck between the fins of the cooler one on each corner and had it mounted to the back of his radiator but he dont have an Fbody so he didnt have the fans behind the radiator, see my problem?

Yes I see, I see. I have the solution

Either get a b&m like the one pictured above or you are going to have to get creative with zip ties. That is essentially what I did. I have an el cheapo on my car currently (like what you are talking about). I also have a b&m that I can't be bothered to install at the moment. Take note on the inlet of the cooler. Mine didn't match up so I had to get a brass barb with two different inlet/outlet sizes to make sure the hoses would connect.

Oh and since it is used go to the autoparts store and they have a cleaner that you use specifically to clean out coolers. My b&m had all sorts of crap in it.
