Flex plate rub
Ok cruising home from town with my buddy to work on his TC which is at my house, we came around a turn and the car shifted hard. As soon as i got back on the gas it lets out a horrid whine like the starter was hitting the flex plate. I baby it home and check it out. Torque converter bolts are good. Nothing was floating around the bell housing. There is rub marks on the bottom of the oil pan from the flex plate and the tips on the teeth on the flex plate are grounded. I took the car back out to make sure i didnt fix it, and it seems to start between 35-55. Never got any higher cause i like no more then a 1/8 mile from my house..
Any Idea what my problem is?
my drivetrain mods are:
performabuilt stage 2
TCI Super Street Fighter 3500 Stall
poly motor, tranny, and torque arm mounts
B&M cooler
