    converter lock-up issues

hi, i am having a issue with my 3600 stall going into lock-up very lazy and soft. it goes into lock-up, but takes its time. the other day i had a chance to get on it a little and i was doing about 80mph. when it went to go into lock-up i was still at about half pedal. the converter shuddered and seemed like it was slipping. as soon as i let off the gas it went into lock-up and seemed to pull alright. is there anything i can do to make it go into lock-up harder and quicker???? would a shift kit help of line pressure adjustments help. any info would be appreciated.

there are changes you can make in the tune with HPTuners like TCC duty cycle and you can also make changes so it doesn't apply at half throttle.
