If you bring the revs up too high with the stock stall which I think is a 1500-1600 stall, you don't have any shock factor to the rear end. But your car wont leave as hard. I have tryed stalling the car up till I thought the tires where going to start turning over and my 60fts went down to some 2.0's -2.1's. When I stall it just a little above idle like 800-900rpms I pull of some 1.9-1.8 60fts in good track conditions. I have never had any drag radials on the car so I don't know what it would do with them on the car. It is your preferance in what you do. If you want to take it easy on the weak 10-bolt then bring the revs as high as you can without spinning the tires and launch it like that. If you want to see what the car can do in some good track conditions stall it low and let the converter flash just a little when you drop the hammer!!

I'm pretty sure the stock stall is 1800 RPMs, not positive tho. does raising the RPMs before launching lower the chances of peeling out? my stock suspension isn't really ideal for launching, and it's pealed out before.
