    Breather vent isn't on the bell housing and that's a view of the bottom of the bell housing. Capped part is the inspection hole but I haven't the slightest clue on what that could be.

    You're right. My PC didn't load that picture this morning when I looked at the thread... I think mine has a tin cover plate over it. It won't hurt any thing leaving it open.

    hole is where I turn the fly wheel with a homemade tool or screw driver when unbolt/bolt converter.
    I will try to draw a picture of tool, I use a peice of 1/4" x 1 1/2" x 18" long
    flat bar with ^^^^^ at top to fit into fly wheel and a < ( notch ) in the side to hold the tool in the hole while inguaged in fly wheel.
    Now I see if I can draw it

    I usally turn the flywheel, by the balancer bolt on the front of the motor. Our bell housings are tighter than most.
