Pewter- 1999 Camaro SS
A4 trans slip
I have a 99 SS with 82,000 on it, I just started to notice when in OD that the converter doesn't seen to look up all the time, cruising at 70-75 at 21-2200 RPM the trans seems to slip I can mash the peddle and flash the converter to 5000 RPM if I want to, I down shift into drive and back to OD and it's back to normal, no engine lights or codes!! any Ideas

First off trans codes don't always throw check engine lights. you need to scan the trans side of the PCM.
second you can scan it but that is a classic sign of the bands and the clutch pack slipping.
It will slowly spread to 3 and down to 2nd and become undrivable. Time to look at a rebuild or buying a replacement.
Couple of options are to find someone local and have them do a preformance rebuild with high preformance sunshell, clutch pack, bands, servo, solenoids, and what ever else. Another is buy a replacemnet from a company like preformabuilt (who is a sponsor here) with a warrenty and full tech support. They have transmissions that can take up to 1000hp, it all depends on your needs.
