98 LS1 flex plate to th400 converter
I have read that a th400 converter will bolt right up to a 98 ls1 flexplate???? Is this true? I am wanting to put a th400 behind my ls1, what else will I need?

No it wont, you would need to drill holes into your existing flex plate..... and doing that increases your chances of improper alignment.
the TCI flexplate has the holes already there and is SFI approved and worth every penny of buying.
are you converting from a 6 speed or do you already have an Auto?
Keep in mind your speedometer will not work anymore.
