Red / white- 1955 Chevy Bel Air - LS1
4L65e Level lll won't shift at WOT
Hello guys.
New to the forum today.
have a problem with my hot rod. Just completed a total restoration of a 55 Chevy post. Using Paul Newman chassis and LS1 / 4L65e Level lll trans from Gearstar. Problem is, it won't shift at WOT. 78 miles on the odometer since I finished it, but the engine is out of a Camaro that rolled, and it has 18K on it. I thought it was a 2002 Camaro, but my on board computer calls it a 98 (??). Used a SNAP ON diagnostic to find out the resistance for the transmission does not drop adequately (1.05 down to 0.8....but not to or below 0.1 as required I'm told). Shop does not know what to change and neither do I.
Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

what are you using to control the trans with? I don't know about the aftermarket controllers but I know with the stock pcm the tranny has to meet 2 criteria in order for the shift to happen....rpm and mph. If it doesn't meet both of those it won't shift.
