    1999 Trans-Am, 2012 Sonic

    4L60E Tail Shaft Housing

    I have a 4L60e Trans from a 2002 TA WS6 that is missing a Tail shaft housing... I plan on useing it in a LS swap into a foxbody mustang....I'm not very familiar with this transmission but I know the Trans Am has a tourqe arm provision built into the housing....

    my question can I source the housing from any 4L60e or does it have to be from a F-body?????

    Is there any difference in the shaft length??????

    Lastly does anyone have a junk transmission or know someone who would be willing to part with the housing?????
