    3600-4000 Stall

im looking for a good but inexpensive(as in below $800-) stall between 3600-4000rpm stall speed what brands would you guys recommend and it may need to hold up to 500ftlbs of torque in the future!

I don't have these but both Yank and Circle D make 4000 stalls. I have heard good things about both. I am actually in the middle of talking to Chris at Circle D about a stall. It's going to be atleast $725 for it though. I wouldn't want to payless since price usually, not always reflects quality. Plus I would want to buy from a name brand company to make sure I know what I am getting.

Probably not unless you want to buy some cheap converter off ebay. I personally wouldn't do that because you don't know the quality of the converter, yes it could be good and last forever but you'll never know. I would hate to waste the money on a converter then end up buying a more expensive name brand one, when I could have just bought that in the first place.

Cars aren't cheap to mod, it gets more expensive from here, trust me.

If you got better things to spend your money on, do it. Because once you put in a 4000 stall, then you'll want a cam, then you'll have to do injectors, etc. The the trans will probably need rebuilt. Then you'll need better tires and suspension to put all the traction to the ground.

Also at some point you are going to want new rear end because it will only be a matter of time before it brakes especially with the cam you are looking at putting in. Possibly better brakes too.
