z06 maf and throttle body

So my buddy has a c5 z06 Maf and throttle body he wants to sell me, is there any real advantage for me in getting this set up. he want 60 bucks for it so it doesnt sound to bad. but will it be worth anything to me? thanks

I don't think it will work. I believe (correct me if I am wrong) that corvettes used electric throttle bodies and fbodies are drive by wire. MAF shouldn't make a difference.

LS6 TBs are drive by wire. It's not going to work on a cable driven car. You can use the LS6 MAF but you'll need an adapter pigtail and to get a tune.

I would pass.very little hp gain if any at all,the ls6 made more power because of the heads/cam/intake.
