    Question yet another exhaust question, opinions please...

    well everyone i am wanting to do away with my magnaflow catback and i think i am going custom. i want true dual but dont have the cash right now so my plan is to put a muffler in the i-pipe under the car and dump it, you know where most peeps put the single cutout. i am prolly goin with the round magnaflow straight thru or the borla xr1 straight thru until i get my true duals. anyone ever run a set up like this. i already have LTs and ORY. how do you think it'll sound? thanks

    hey man, save your money and shop around a bunch of shops...around here I know i can get get duals and mufflers from the headers back for around $200.
    You might just be supprised how cheap you can get a good job done for if you take your time looking

    if you can find a good muffler shop it's worth getting a custom system IMO.

    i have a cat back with a custom catless 2.5" y pipe it works quite well

    thanks guys, i want true duals but i will just do it at a later date, plus it kinda ruins ground clearance. i just want to do something a lil different

    if you get custom bent exhaust the shop that does it for you can usually get it higher and tighter fit to keep beter ground clearance.
    just a tip I think 2.5 duals are about max for over the axle on your car without clearance problems
