You need duals to have an x or h pipe.

a y pipe would mean you'd stick with a catback. if you get an x or h you will need a true dual setup. I've heard that X pipes net more power, but H gives better sound.

h/x pipes are for balancing different pressures between 1 and 2 banks. theres very little flow between them, air just kinda bounces back and forth between the two duals. imo, most x pipes are very restrictive at the x. save your money and go with an h for true duals.

No way, you should get the o-pipe from KaleCo Auto, they have the best stuff. Here's the link: http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...&products_id=3

definitely an import site. there's all sorts of retarded shit for ricers. like 4 inch exhaust for a car making 89fwhp

so I bought 2 o-pipes to try out... I hate it. it doesn't make any power at all. one upside though. it doesn't make any noise as the car won't even run. lol. (whole post joke...)

None, hence the letters IMO
But, I used to work in a custom exhaust shop and made them there. When you cut an oval in the side of pipe and join it, the area where the oval is(x joint) the circumference is smaller. We used to simply cut an oval and weld the two oval together. I've seen some manufactured x pipes that have a camber between the two pipes, which doesnt restrict the size of each pipe. I havent seen any dyno numbers comparing the two but cant imagine any more than 5% hp difference.
