    Y pipe install

Just purchased an ory pipe from ws6project.com, i am wondering the level of difficulty on installing this part. I cannot foresee it being a large task although i want to know if there is anything i should look out for before i begin. Thanks alot

I installed a catback myself. If I can do that, you can do this. Just put it up on jacks (be careful!). It's nice to have some power tools like a torque wrench for the clamps, but not necessary.

But I am wondering, will he have to remove the catback first? I don't see how you could get the stock y-pipe out without doing that. Someone clarify please.

no need to remove the factory catback. It takes a little persuasion but it can be done

i am going to assume that this is not a weld in job,...but if it is make sure you fit everything in and tack it in place and check all your clearances and adjust for vibrations etc so you dont get rubbing /burning

and make sure you get the pipes not to hit the body pain in the butt , it turns your knock sensor on and loose lots of power.Happened to me.

Sounds good, thanks for the help. I put it on although have to tweek it to make it have enough clearance for the drive shaft and body. shouldnt be a problem it fit in pretty nicely.

Maybe. It was like a socket wrench that could be used by hand but also powered. Maybe it was an impact with an extension on it or something. I'm so dumb with tools.
