y pipe bottomin out

i have a 2000 ss w/ hooker headers and y pipe and a slp dual dual. Every time i hit a bump my y pipe is bangin the hell out of bumps. Looked underneath and so nothing too obvious. Any ideas would be great. Just might take it back to the place that installed them but not till late june

i have the same problem... only thing you can do is take it to an exhaust shop and have them try to bend it with out kinking it...

How close is it to the floor board? Could they have gotten closer?

yah. after the installation it would smack the floorboard when floored and that was ok. But in the past i bottomed out a couple times under hard acceleration. i dont know what happened maybe from bottomin out previously something loosened up or just some loose bolts or just wear.My shop told me they would have to custom fabricate a part but what
