    Y-Pipe

You guys are proably sick of seeing me start threads about headers by now but i think this should be my last one. I am set on getting LT pacesetters and was wondering should i get the y-pipe too and if so which one? Will the LT headers fit with a factory Y-Pipe? What is the gain of an aftermarket one?

LT's shouldnt fit to factory Y

also... ya really dont want a y pipe... that'll kill exhaust flow...

When you buy LT's you need to by a new mid pipe... the mid pipe will be rather short... mid pipes consist of X and H pipes both with or without cats... If you have aY pipe now ya'll probably then need a catback...

Y pipes are a waste... dont bother with them... do it right the first time

    I hope I helped

The problem you'll run into is if you get rid of the Y and go true duals you'll either have to dump before the axle with 2.5" pipe or pay big dollars for over the axle stuff unless you're in with a muffler guy willing to spend the time fabbing you up some. I have pacesetters with their Y and although it does suck after some playing around with it I got it to fit without hitting the bottom of the car. Just takes some adjusting. Your stock Y won't work with LT's so you'll have to get one somewhere. I'm not sure what other Y's fit the pacesetters since they're slip fit headers.
