    Wrong Headers

Hi recently purchased Pacesetter LT's for my TA thinking it was the version which kept the cats in use. After dropping it off at th mechanic shop found out they eliminated cats is there a way to custom weld cats after headers with this eliminate setup?

I think you are refering to the y-pipe.
The headers are the same with or without cats.

There are two basic types of y-pipe.
    Offroad y-pipe doesn't have cats.
    Catted y-pipe does.

You will need cats obviously, as the stockers will not work inline with longtubes.
But the exhaust shop should be able to cut out some of the straight piping on the offroad y-pipe and put cats on it.

I would recomend high flow cats if you HAD to run them...... or a tune if you didn't program that code rite out.

It depends what catback you are running.

My previous car I had to pass the visual inspection test so I bought some cheap oval cats hollowed them out and welded them in place after cutting a section of the Y-pipe. They look good and I programed the codes out so It passed both Ohio and NY inspection. I use a couple cones of silence to help cut down the rasp as I was running a Borlamouth Exhaust (Loudmouth with XR-1 Borla muffler). The setup was great and pretty loud.
