Is It Worth It!!!!

I have read is several Magazines that installing a LS6 intake on my 2000 TA, WS6, LS1 will make a big difference on Horsepower. Can anyone who have done this change tell me if its worth it or not? and if so, what is the best intake to buy?

hell yes! its a must do mod! The best flowing intake is the fast 90mm setup, but its about 1k for the setup. The ls6 intake with a ported tb will work very well also.

while you wont feel a difference, it will add 10 rear wheel horsepower.

and allow better breathing for future mods..heads..cam..a friend of mine has heads/ cam and no ls6 intake...he's not over 400hp. Should he get a better intake, Im sure his motor would breath much better and make more power.

Yeah you should get 1, I would not be in a big hurry to get 1 check ebay and other places for good deals. Its good for about 8-10rwhp on a stock ls1 and theres a dyno on LS1howto that got like 20+rwhp but the car they put it own wasnt stock. I got mine for $50 and then another $50 for coolant pipe and plug kit so I got my LS6 for $100.
