youll probably feel a little difference, and with the sfc your car will feel more firm.. and if you plan on getting LTs and stuff dont get a tune until all of it is done

+1 it might add 5-8 hp if that.. Awefull hard to feel that in a 3700lb car. Geting a ls6 intake really does not make a difference until you buy a new cam and there are much better mods to buy before you need to worry about getting one.

I would get a new lid, Long tube headers, and an after market exhaust like a borla or magnaflow catback or true duels before I worried about getting an LS6 intake.

SFC's are well worth the money, and should be the first mod anyone does. It really stiffens up the car.

I would almost say the weight you'll be adding with the SFC's would cancel out any gains you'd see from the intake. Both are worthwhile mods but they also have their own places. SFC's I would definitely do but if you don't have the usual bolt ons I'd probably go for lid and headers before the intake.

With the LS6 intake, you will feel a difference in the upper RPM range.

It felt like it climbed a tad bit better in the 4K+ area but nothing to write home about the SFC's you will definately feel the more firm-connected feel.

You pick up about 10-12 RWHP with the LS6 intake versus the LS1 intake above 4000 RPMs. Under 4k RPMs, the LS1 and LS6 intakes produce about the same HP.
