I've actually never gotten anything through the scoops on my ws6 Hood. I have a volant box with knn filters. The filters being coated in the oil makes em get a lil dusty. However I have gotten stuff in my radiator on numerous occasions.

Does any TA owners know if they make a grill to cover those nostrils in the Hood?

    2000 Camaro SS Vert #5301

Did the free ram air and SLP lid 12 yrs ago when the car was brand new. Never a problem with anything large getting blown up to the filter. I didn't do the FTRA kit thing because it blocks the radiator.

Personal preference really. Neither has shown any performance differences, it's a matter of taste.

I personally like the clean look of a lid and the easy maintanance that comes with it. I don't care for the looks of the Volant stuff.
